Click photo to enlarge Sierra Madre is the home of a one of a kind tribute to its local veterans, its Veterans Memorial Wall in Memorial Park at 222 Sierra Madre Blvd. The wall was conceived by longtime Sierra Madrean John Grijalva, who organized a group of volunteers, raised funds, worked with the City to find a location and get the approvals, and oversaw construction of the wall. He and his group of volunteers also maintained the wall and decorated it with donated flowers until John's passing in December of 2007. The group of volunteers carries on John's mission.
