Frosty Arrives in Kersting Court Andrew Graper, Dave Forrester and Augie Beck have been building a snowman downtown since 1988. Or a combination of any of them, for instance Andrew couldn’t make it in 2006, so Dave and Augie did it, in 2007 Augie couldn’t make it, so Dave and Andrew kept it going. Originally, Frosty arrived on the night of the candlelight walk but more recently he’s been coming in on Christmas Eve. Andrew and Augie now live in Pioneer Town, though Dave’s still local. But the tradition continues. Frosty’s arrival each year is another one of those Mayberry moments that makes this town such a great place to live.
