By Glenn Lambdin Born in 1956, Glenn is a home-grown Sierra Madrean and has lived the majority of his life in Sierra Madre. The first wave of his family emigrated to Sierra Madre from Germany in 1933, while the second wave came at the end of WW II. Glenn attended Sierra Madre Elementary School, Wilson Jr. High, and Pasadena High School. At age 17, he enlisted in the military and served 4 years active duty during the final years of the Vietnam conflict. Glenn is a self-employed local general contractor and has raised his two sons, Eli and William, in Sierra Madre. He served the City as a councilman from 1998 – 2002. Sometimes referred to as an outspoken advocate for the truth, he will be the first to tell you he is “just another blabber-mouth with an opinion.” Glenn is an avid surfer and Muay Thai kick-boxer with a passion for acoustic guitar and Starbuck’s coffee.
