The 37th Mt. Wilson Trail Race's Pre-Race Pasta Party Friday, May 23, 2003
Back to Trail Race 2003 main page Pre-Race Pasta Party Helps Racers/Volunteers Get To Know Each Other, Prepare For Race Many of the Mt. Wilson Trail Race contestants and volunteers met up in Kersting Court Friday night to enjoy a pre-race pasta dinner and to pre-register for the race. A dinner of pasta, salad, bread and beverage was available, served in Kersting Court, by the Peppertree Grill. Volunteers served up the food, while other volunteers checked in the racers, providing them with the racers "grab bag" that included their t-shirt, promotional materials from local businesses, and info about the race. A Trail Race video prepared by Denny Barry Productions was shown, featuring footage from last year's race interspersed with historical photos from the early races, and many of the runners and the volunteers were seen admiring the video, which this writer thought turned out pretty well. Good job Trail Race Committee, Peppertree Grill and Denny Barry!! Click on a picture below to see it larger.
