SM Rose Float Assn. Holds "Legendary BINGO" Fundraiser  hosted by "Bingo Boy" & the fabulous "Belle Aire." A gift basket or better was awarded to each BINGO winner! There was a $20 donation requested if you wanted to come and play Bingo, but funds were also raised through food, beer and wine, opportunity (no, it's not a raffle) sales and video sales.  All proceeds go towards the building of the 2005 Sierra Madre Rose Float Association's Tournament of Roses Parade entry.  This is one of a few fundraisers scheduled for the 2005 float, there will be others, including another Legendary Bingo fundraiser scheduled for October 23rd.  If you missed this one, be sure  to make the next one.  It's raucous good fun, for a good cause, helping SMRFA carry on Sierra Madre's decades long tradition of having a float in the T of R parade, one of the few self-built floats still involved.  But don't bring the kids to this particular event, unless you feel comfortable explaining to them why O-69 is everybody's favorite number...Click on a pic to see it larger.
