Department of Parks and Recreation Press Releases 4/16/03 Parks and Rec Taking Reservations for Dodger Night Family Outing Come watch the Dodgers take on the World Champion Anaheim Angels and get a free Dodger Antenna Pennant at the same time. The Bus departs from the Rec Center June 20th at 5:45pm, game time is 7:10pm, and return time is estimated at about 11pm. The $21.00 cost includes a loge ticket, bus ride, and parking. To make your reservations, call Parks and Rec at 355-5278. Spring Club Madre Registration Near The Parks and Recreation Dept. invites you to register your child(ren) for Spring Club Madre fun with Spongebob. Full supervision and fun will be provided during the spring break vacation, from April 14th through April 18th. Planned activities include arts and crafts, sports, nature, movies and snack. Don't forget to pack a lunch. Costs include activity materials, snack and movies. Daily costs are $26, and weekly costs depend on the time your child will be there: 9 to 3, $115; 8 to 5, $125; and 7:30 to 6, $140. Don't delay, sign up early!! The Sierra Madre Dolphin Team is a community organization that promotes the development of competitive swimming, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. This spring we will be having a fundraiser, to raise money for the team. The money raised on May 1sst, will allow new equipment to be purchased, guest coaches for stroke mechanics, and team oriented activiites for members and their families. The dinner fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at Pepper's Restaurant from 5:00 pm - 10:00 p.m., dine in only. Thank you in advance for time and generous contribution to our team.
