Huck Finn Fishing Derby/Camping, 2009 March 27 - 29, 2009 Click here for the main Huck Finn page. Huck Finn was held on the weekend of March 27-29, 2009. The campout portion of Huck Finn took place on Friday, March 27. The City accepted registration for the campout at the Community Services Office. Each campsite cost $45, which included the fishing derby for youths. Pre-registration for the campout was required. The fishing derby portion of Huck Finn took place on Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 am. The cost of the fishing derby was $6 for youth’s ages 3-15 years. Family fishing started at 12:30 pm on March 28, and was all day Sunday, March 29 from 7:00am - 4:00pm. Family fishing was $10.00 per day and covered up to four people.
