Relay for Life - Sept. 16th and 17th
The first annual Sierra Madre Relay for
Life took place beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday the 16th and continuing through
9 a.m. on the 17th. Opening and Closing Ceremonies, a Luminary Service,
live entertainment, karaoke, and movies overnight were part of the festivities.
Money is still coming in, but as of the closing ceremonies, more than $27,000
had been raised to find a cure for cancer. Entertainment was scheduled
throughout the day. Unfortunately, I was only there during two of
the performances. Please note that if you would like to see and hear
