VFW Post 3208 Hosts Memorial Day Service at Pioneer Cemetery Monday, May 31, 2010 Harry L Embree VFW Post 3208 of Sierra Madre hosted a Memorial Day service at Pioneer Cemetery today, emceed by Commander Dave Loera. Featured speakers were Mayor Joe Mosca and Charles Carter. Music was provided by Patrick and Mary Cronin. Boy Scout Troop 373 assisted. Commander Loera remembered former Post Commander Bill Newbery, who passed away during the last year. Resident Hilda Guzman was on hand with a photo of her nephew Donald J. Cline, a lance corporal killed in Iraq. Barbara Cline and Barbara Lee served refreshments provided by Bean Town after the ceremony. There are pictures below the video...
