8 am to noon 8th Annual Hike into History
Thursday, Oct. 9

10am to 2pm Sierra Madre Living Treasures (Oldtimers gathering)
Noon to 3pm Pioneer Kids Activities, panning for gold, butter churning, old-fashioned clothes washing, watermelon seed-spitting contest, and much, much more
3pm to 3:30pm Sierra Madre Heritage Essay Contest Winners Announced (grades 4, 5 and 6)
3:30pm to 4:30pm Pioneer Days Historical Kid's Pageant
5pm to 10pm Rotary Tri-tip Dinner/Dance
Sunday, Oct. 12
10am to 4pm E. Waldo Ward & Son Open House, gift store open, museum open, old-time printing demonstration, factory tours, old-fashioned crafts exhibits, antique engines exhibit, classic cars, live entertainment, food booth
11am – 4pm Sierra Madre Historical Preservation Society opens Lizzie’s Trail Inn and The Richardson House to visitors
