The tradition of Pioneer Days in Sierra Madre has survived more than fifty years, as evidenced by archival pictures of Pioneer Days festivities from the 1940s. Sierra Madreans love history! Judy Webb-Martin and Pam Kelly revived Pioneer Days and kept it going in the 1990s. The City took up the call in 2002. Now a group of citizens are focusing on five days this fall, in October, 2003. You can help to make these exciting events a reality. The Pioneer Days Focus Group has prepared a list of the Pioneer Days Sponsorship opportunities for you. We encourage your generous participation!!

Pioneer Copper Sponsor - Cash or in-kind contribution up to $100

Text thank you on Pioneer Days website, and in directory to be distributed at Pioneer Days events. 15% off advertising in Pioneer Days Events program.

Pioneer Bronze Sponsor - Cash or in-kind contribution of $100 to $249.99

Same as Copper Sponsor, with additional 35% for a total of 50% off advertising in Pioneer Days Events program. Also, thank you mention on posters at Pioneer Days Events, text mention in footer of Pioneer Days e-mails.

Pioneer Silver Sponsor - Cash or in-kind contribution of $250 to $1,000

Same as Bronze Sponsor, but instead of 50% off an ad in the Events Directory, you will receive a 1/2-page ad free. Text mention on the website will include a link to your website. Text mention in sponsor’s banner in Pioneer Days letterhead. Pioneer Days e-mails will include your name and a link to your website. Prominent placement on thank you page in directory, and in event posters.

Pioneer Gold Sponsor - Cash or in-kind contribution of $1,000 and up

Your logo, with link, will be featured on the Pioneer Days website, and recognition will be given in every media release to local and regional news outlets such as the Core Media Weeklys (Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Monrovia and Pasadena Independent), Mountain Views, (Sierra Madre, Altadena and Monrovia editions), the Pasadena Star News, the Los Angeles Times, Sierra Madre News Net and more. Also, recognition in releases to the City’s P.R. firm, Blaze Company, for use in its promotion, and on local Cable Channel 20. Free full-page ad in Pioneer Days program. Logo and text recognition will be given in Pioneer Days letterhead, promotional brochures, event posters, and any advertising where space permits.
