 As
you may have already guessed, I have a lot of friends (and my brother) who
are musicians, and I love live music. I used to work in the record biz,
and I've seen (and met) my share of famous bands. Nowadays I don't have
to travel very far from home to see great music, as you can see from the
list below. And yes, I do attend a good number of the events that I
choose to publish!
Here is a photo of me and one of my talented friends, Joe Velosa (click on
the photo to enlarge it). You can see him play BASS this Sat. at Trader
Joe's in South Pasadena, and then DRUMS that same night at Holly Street
Bar & Grill, with a completely different band! What a versatile (and
handsome) guy!

first. The show starts at 8:00. They'll have desserts and coffee ready.

that played at that place last Thursday that it's driving you crazy that you
can't remember. Actually, we may also add to some of the old columns
by creating links at the blurb about an event, if we cover it and have
either photos or videos that we've posted for that event.
