Music News Update

by Sierra Madre Sue Behrens

I've said it before and I'll say it again - that CAFE 322 is the NICEST that place has EVER been!  Thru all of its past incarnations - the Peppertree Grill, Tailgator's, the Sunset and the Raven & the Rose, somebody finally got it right.  (Ok - I was never there when it was Daley's Tavern, but I can't imagine...)  Anyway, Mario, the current proprietor and his staff, serve up some great Italian fare at reasonable prices, in an attractive, comfortable setting.  With the stage finally in the right place, you can enjoy their (almost) nightly live entertainment from anywhere in the room, and the performers don't have to worry about getting hit in the back of the head with a billiard ball!  They have alot of great music scheduled for this Memorial Weekend, as you can see below.

As the first in a series of my favorite bartenders, here is a photo of Kevin from Cafe 322 and me (click to enlarge).  Tell him SierraMadreSue sent ya...........he fixes a mean gin & tonic!!!

We're going to post links to past Music News columns, not because it makes sense to post outdated calendar items, but just so you can look up the name of the band that played at that place last Thursday that it's driving you crazy that you can't remember.  Actually, we may also add to some of the old columns by creating links at the blurb about an event, if we cover it and have either photos or videos that we've posted for that event.
