Each year Heather and Doug Parker grow lots of pumpkins and turn their yard (and house) into a Halloween wonderland, to the delight of thousands of folks who come to see houses all along Alegria Ave on Halloween. The last couple years, the Parkers have been kind enough to invite me to stop by on moving day, which is obviously a big day for them. This year, there was also a film crew of Cal State Northridge students (Theodore Nguyen, Taylor Paul and Blaine (SP?) Gibson) that are doing a documentary school project about Alegria. They've promised to provide me a copy to publish on this site when it's complete, so you'll want to check back for that. Learned an interesting fact today. Heather's dad was former news anchor Clete Roberts.
