Sierra Madre City College is a philanthropic organization that conducts fundraisers and uses money raised to better the City of Sierra Madre.  There is a picnic pergola in Sierra Vista Park donated by SMCC.  The art patio at Sierra Madre School lower campus was donated by Sierra Madre City College.  Lights at Mt. Wilson Trail Park (Turtle Park) were paid for by SMCC.  There are certainly many other contributions SMCC has made to the City, these are just a few we can think of off the top of our head.  But they are probably best known as one of the early entries in each year's 4th of July parade, featuring the SMCC president, the SMCC marching band, and a float, always irreverent, frequently satirical.  Here's to our alma mater!!
