The Little League Opening Day Parade and Hit-a-Thon took place on Saturday, Feb. 26th. Here are some pictures from the events, with emphasis on the T-ball Reds, the team my son plays with.
1. Some of the Reds play together before the parade.
2, 3, 4. The Reds in the trailer waiting for the parade to start.
5. Police Chief King Davis rode in a squad car at the head of the parade.
6. The Diamondbacks rode on a fire engine.
7. The Reds turn the corner onto the parade route.
8. Reds Coach Eric Otte addresses the team.
9, 10. Former major leaguer and Sierra Madre resident Max West was
the guest of honor.
11, 12. Sluggers at bat.
