Pioneer Days Historical Archives Slide Show

This event  will take place at the Woman's Club, from 12:30 to 4:30pm on Saturday, October 19, 2002.  The presentation will last approximately half an hour, and will start on the half hour, i.e., 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30.  Archivist Debbie Henderson will present the slide show featuring gems from the archives.  Please stop by for a saunter through Sierra Madre history.

I did not make it to the  slideshow, as I was meeting with a gentleman who had contributed many of the photos that were in the slideshow, Mr. Joe Hinojos.  Mr. Hinojos took many photos of Sierra Madre in the 40s and 50s, and is only now beginning to get some of the recognition he deserves, thanks to Debbie Henderson and the Library now including his name when a photo of his is used.  Here's a link to his page.
