This year's race started at 8 a.m., sharp, with check-in time from 7:15 - 7:45. Events concluded at 10:00. Participants not crossing the finish line by 10:00 did not receive an official time. Awards were presented to the first through third overall male and female finishers. The awards ceremony began at approximately 10 a.m.
The Entry fee was $15 for pre-registration, which included an official t-shirt. Event day registration was $20, including the shirt. Children under 12 were free, but had to complete an entry form. Children's registration did not include a t-shirt, but all kids who entered received a participant medal at the finish line.
The event had 143 entries.
No dogs, skating of any kind, or bicycles were allowed. Strollers and wheelchairs were welcome.
The race began and ended at Sierra Madre Elementary School, at 141 W. Highland Ave.. This year's course passed by such town treasures as the Alverno High School (Barlow Villa), Ascension Church, the Pinney House, Bailey Canyon and the Mater Dolorosa Monastery. Over 20 historic properties were on the route, including several which are on the California historic landmark registry.

the Sierra Madre Civic Club, the Mt. Wilson Trail Race Committe, and the
Sierra Madre Recreation Dept.
