PUBLIC COMMENT

               

People in the audience will be able to make comments on items that are covered on this agenda. 

 

Under the Brown Act, the City Council is prohibited from taking action on items not on the agenda, but the matter may be referred to staff or to a subsequent meeting.  Each speaker will be limited to five (5) continuous minutes, which may not be delegated.  These rules will be enforced but may be changed by appropriate City Council action.

Conference with Legal Counsel (Government Code Section 54956.9(a)):

The City Council/Agency finds, based on advice from legal counsel, that discussion in open session will prejudice the position of the local agency in the litigation.

Existing Litigation: Maranatha v. City of Sierra Madre, Case No: 2:CV03-0082 DDP (SHSx)

Present: Attorney, Bill Garr, City Attorney, Michael Colantuono and City Manager, Tamara Gates.

The City Council/Agency finds, based on advice from legal counsel, that discussion in open session will prejudice the position of the local agency in the litigation.

Existing Litigation: Mena v. Muehler

Present: City Attorney, Michael Colantuono and City Manager, Tamara Gates.

Present: City Attorney, Michael Colantuono and City Manager, Tamara Gates and Bruce Inman, Director of Public Works

Present: Attorney, Brian Walter, City Attorney, Michael Colantuono and City Manager, Tamara Gates

 

The City Council/CRA may not discuss any item not appearing on this agenda.

 

Adjourn to the Regular on this day at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.
