Posted 5/12/12 – Andrew Kasiske of AKA Fotographix has had his photography and framing studio tucked away at 41 E. Montecito for some time, but when a streetfront space opened recently at 39 E. Montecito, he decided to rent it as well and open a gallery that would be more accessible (and visible) from the street. Friday night, “Gallery 39” hosted a reception for its inaugural exhibition, featuring the works of Ginny Gutierrez, Ginny Liskow, Hilary Wootton and Star Higgins. Visitors enjoyed live music, snacks and beverages while perusing the artists’ work. Click on a photo below to enlarge.
