Psted 5/6/12 – The Sierra Madre Volunteer Firefighters’ Association held its annual Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Station yesterday. Cost of the breakfast, which included pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice was just $5, and the price was right for hundreds of people that thurned out. Proceeds help to fund SMVFA activities throughout the year, including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Santa at City Hall on Christmas Eve, and many others. - Some of the longest lines I’ve seen at a pancake breakfast, but then, I’m usually there at 7am, not 8:45
- Baby’s first fire truck!
- CERT members were on hand, educating and preparing
- What’s everybody else gonna have?
- The ladies, again!
- It wasn’t just the kids that wanted their pictures taken with the fire engine…
