A Pictorial Look Back at 2011

We’ve gone through our pictures and put together a video of the year in pictures.  It wasn’t easy to condense a year into about 14 minutes, still, for some of you I imagine that will seem interminably long.  This is obviously not going to cover every story, but hopefully it will bring back some memories.  The big story this year was the weather.  The Rose Float got rained out of Kersting Court, the Wistaria Festival shut down early due to rain, Little League’s opening day parade was postponed, the Wine Tasting was rained on, and of course, we did have some recent trouble with some wind…you’ll find a few post windstorm photos in the video.

Incidentally, I heard yesterday that Mike Zubia had died at the age of just 42, from a heart attack.  Mike had performed classical guitar at the Wistaria Festival for many years, and so I thought it would be fitting to have Mike’s guitar be the sound track for the 2011 slide show.  Our condolences to Mike’s family and friends.
