Police Chief Marilyn Diaz w/tile presented by City Council
At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, the Council recognized retiring Sierra Madre Police Chief Marilyn Diaz, presenting her with the traditional engraved tile of the City seal. Mayor John Buchanan spoke first, followed by Chief Diaz. There will be a City sponsored going away party at the Sierra Madre Room in the Rec. Center, on Thursday, Dec. 29th, beginning at 5:30 with a meet and greet, followed at 6:30 by commendations and proclamations from City, Council, State and Federal representatives.
