On Saturday afternoon, as vendors were setting up booths in Kersting Court in preparation for Dickens Village, an alarm began sounding, followed shortly thereafter by sirens from police and fire units. Seems a Honda SUV had driven into the back of the building at 35 N. Baldwin Ave., where Accurate Accounting is located. The alarm was for the office, not the car.
This just in from SMPD: The collision involved an 83-year old driver who accidentally drove her 2002 Honda CRV into the building at 35 N Baldwin. The collision occurred at 1:20PM and there were no injuries involved. At the conclusion of the investigation, no citations were issued.
