Posted 10/31/11 – Hundreds of kids and their parents trick or treated downtown for Halloween again this year. Sierra Madre Blvd. was closed beginning at 3:30, and local businesses that were open (many local businesses are closed on Mondays, though at least one, Angels Everywear opened for the festivities on a day they are normally closed) dished out the treats to the kids. Downtown trick or treating is sponsored by the Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Community and Personnel Services Department.
