Desk Officer Wiggins of SMPD reports that all roads are clear. Wunderground.com is showing the current temp as 44.8, and we’ve had .48″ of rain since midnight. For those of you who had hopes of snow, it appears as though the temperatures and the precipitation aren’t in sync for that to happen. Last night, when it was definitely raining, the low was in the 40s. Tonight, Wunderground.com is predicting a low of 31 degrees, but only a 30% chance of precipitation. I was talking to a Sierra Madre oldtimer who told me that when he was a kid, back in the 40s, it snowed in town every four or five years. We haven’t seen snow here in quite some time. Anybody know when was the last time it snowed in Sierra Madre? Not up on the hills behind us, that was just last week. I mean actually snowed here in town…
