Tuesday, July 5th:
2:09 AM- DUI Alcohol/Drugs, 3600 blk. E Sierra Madre Blvd. in Pasadena An officer stopped a 28-year old Altadena motorist for a Vehicle Code violation and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to Pasadena Police Department Jail for booking.
Wednesday, July 6th:
1:26 AM- DUI Alcohol/Drugs, 1600 blk. Oakwood Ave. An officer stopped a 57-year old Sierra Madre motorist for a Vehicle Code violation and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to Pasadena Police Department Jail for booking.
12:17 PM- Battery Against Current/Ex Spouse/Cohab-NonCohab, 300 blk. Ramona Ave. This incident involves a battery between a man and a woman who are dating. The woman said that the man hit her, slapped her and choked her to the point that she almost passed out. The woman said that the man also threatened to kill her. The female had minor scratches on her hand but no other visual injuries. There are no witnesses to the assault.
Thursday, July 7th:
5:08 PM- Elder Abuse/Theft/Embezzlement/Caregiver, 100 blk. W. Sierra Madre Blvd. This case involves a former company caregiver who closed the bank accounts of two residents and transferred the monies into his personal account.
Friday, July 8th:
12:22 AM- DUI Alcohol/Drugs, Michillinda Ave and Foothill Blvd. An officer stopped a 47-year old Sierra Madre motorist for a Vehicle Code violation and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to Pasadena Police Department Jail for booking.
8:32 PM- Possession of Marijuana/1 oz or less, Baldwin Ave and Orange Grove Ave. An 18-year old Pasadena resident was cited and released for possession of marijuana.
Saturday, July 9th:
10:53 PM- Disorderly Conduct/Drunk in Public, 400 blk. Sierra Keys Dr. Officers arrested an intoxicated man who was throwing objects and destroying personal property. Officers arrested the suspect for public intoxication and took him to the Pasadena jail for booking.
