California Redistricting Plans, Interactive Map

I received a link to an interactive map today from Senator Bob Huff’s office, that allows you to view the proposed Congressional map, proposed Senate map, proposed Assembly map, proposed Board of Equalization map, the County lines for the entire state, or just for your region of interest.  You can view a single map, or add layers to view multiple maps for comparison purposes.  It’s a pretty neat little map.

They also had this to say:

Below is the link to the most recent detailed redistricting map, created by the Rose Institute at Claremont McKenna College.  This map provides street level detail of each district’s boundary, a ‘before and after’ snapshot of sorts.  The next draft maps will be published on July 12thDeadline to submit written public comment on the first round of draft maps is June 28th.

You can view the map here.

Also, here are the dates for some upcoming Redistricting Commission public hearings.  As of now, there are no other meetings in the Southern California area scheduled for the month of July.  The August meeting schedule has not been created yet.  For more information visit wedrawthelines.ca.gov.
