The City of Sierra Madre is updating its General Plan. A General Plan is a document which provides goals, objectives, policies, and a set of maps and diagrams affecting the physical development, social, economic, and environmental resources of the City. The General Plan is a blueprint for what Sierra Madre will be for the next ten to twenty years.
What’s your vision for Sierra Madre?
An update to the General Plan cannot be done without your input. Please take a moment to fill out the on-line survey, available on the City’s website – www.cityofsierramadre.com – the survey can be accessed under the heading “General Plan”, and click on the link “General Plan Update Survey.” Here is a direct link to the survey.
If you’d rather fill out a paper copy of the survey, you can pick one up at the front desk of Sierra Madre City Hall, located at 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. If you received the latest publication of the Wistaria Vine magazine in the mail, the survey was inserted in the magazine. Please fill out one survey per person, and return the completed survey by mail or to City Hall staff.
Your input will help the General Plan Steering Committee (GPSC) formulate the goals, objectives, and policies to be included in the General Plan Update.
