Posted 1/4/17 – Sierra Madre Rose Float Association’s “The Cat’s Away”. winner of the Mayor’s Trophy in the Tournament of Roses Roses Parade, is currently in Kerting Court until this afternoon. What time this afternoon is still up in the air, since the float has water sensitive equipment on it, and the forecast calls for a chance of rain, starting with 10% at noon, moving to 20% at 2pm. So, you’ll want to get there early if you can, get your up close views of the SMRFA masterpiece, take a selfie or three, and buy flowers to help pay for the 2018 float.
