The 2011 Mount Wilson Trail Race marks the 103rd anniversary of the 2nd oldest race in California! The sold-out Trail Race will take off this Saturday, May 28 at 7:30 am. There will be many booths and activities in Kersting Court including the: Kids’ Art Show, beer garden, a live video feed and the Kids’ Fun Run.
MWTR Pasta Feed Dinner – May 27, 2011
The Pre-race Pasta Load dinner will once again take place on Friday, May 27, 2011. A pasta dinner will be provided by Café 322, in Kersting Court from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm for $7.50. All proceeds benefit the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue. For more information call 626-355-5278.
MWTR Beer Garden – May 28, 2011
The Beer Garden will be held in Kersting Court during the Mount Wilson Trail Race from 9:00am – 11:30am. Grab a beer after the race with friends. The Beer Garden is sponsored by Spaten West, with all proceeds benefiting Sierra Madre Search and Rescue.
MWTR Kids Fun Run – May 28, 2011 – The Kids Fun Run is absolutely FREE!
Join the Sierra Madre Community Service Commission’s May Healthy Family Fun activity – the 6th Annual Kids Fun Run. Starting at 7:45 am in Kersting Court, run up Baldwin and back, approximately one mile, ending at the same finish line as the Mount Wilson Trail Race runners. Show up in Kersting Court ready to run and GET OUT and GET ACTIVE! The first 150 youths to sign up will receive a free t-shirt, courtesy of CATZ Sports, and a race ribbon. Registration is conducted in Kersting Court prior to the race and is required to participate.
