Press Release posted 5/18/14 – Community organizations and members are invited to come together with their neighbors to participate in a community yard sale. Participants have the opportunity to clean out their garages, attics, storage sheds and closets without sending those items to landfill. One vendor that has participated reports raising $800 for their organization over the last two years.
For more information, click on the flyer image at left. If you would like to participate in the Community Yard Sale, you must register in person at the Community Services Office, 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd. There will be spots in both the Sierra Vista Park West Parking Lot as well as the Basketball Court this year. Selecting spots will be on a first come, first serve basis. Deadline to register is Thursday, May 29 or until spaces are filled.
