Q. What’s your favorite type of music?
A. Classic rock, jazz, and old-school hip-hop.
Q. In or out of that genre, what’s your favorite album/CD?
A. Rubber Soul. Sort of overlooked because of the White Album, but all great songs.
Q. What’s your favorite movie?
A. Sideways. A thousand funny scenes but still makes you feel for the characters.
Q. Who’s your favorite actor?
A. Michael Douglas. Great actor, great roles, great hair.
Q. Who’s your favorite actress?
A. Cate Blanchett. Such a good actress I forget it is her on the screen and only see the character.
Q. Netflix or Redbox?
A. Netflix – addicted to House of Cards and the sinister Frank Underwood.
Q. What’s your favorite book?
A. Dinner at Mr. Jefferson’s. It is at the Sierra Madre library and I highly recommend it.
Q. Who’s your favorite author?
A. Ken Follett (Pillars of the Earth, etc.)
Q. Printed book or e-book?
A. Print. Don’t mind dropping it in the sand.
Q. What’s your favorite TV show?
A. Mad Men. Don Draper, enough said.

A. Not a big fan of talk shows.

A. DVR.
Q. What’s your favorite meal?
A. Chicken Madeira, homemade only.
Q. Favorite non-Sierra Madre San Gabriel Valley restaurant (please do not include Sierra Madre – I don’t want to risk alienating voters over something like that)
A. Zelo Pizza. I love that crust and the place is cozy.

A. Charlie Brown. He is me, I am him.
Q. Your favorite sports team?
A. NY Giants. The one piece of the East Coast that came along with me.

A. Android.

A. Beatles. Got the gene from my mother. Thanks Mom.

A. Beach Boys. Can still sing Endless Summer from start to finish.

A. Paris.

A. Plastic. Only because they make good pooper-scoopers.

A. Propane. Charcoal embers would burn the Canyon down.

A. Reading, basketball at Sierra Vista Park.

A. Football!

A. Basketball. One day I will learn golf, but I’m not giving up yet.

A. Lincoln. The Platonic ideal.
Q. If you could meet a famous figure from the past, who would you choose and why?
A. Thomas Jefferson. Great thinker, great conversationalist, read everything, and knew how to host a good dinner party.

A. Fareed Zakaria. The guy gets it and says it like it is.
