Press Release posted 6/22/13 – Saturday, July 20, from 5pm-8pm, the Sierra Madre Historical Preservation Society will be serving a Chicken & Ravioli Dinner at Mt. Wilson Trail Park, 189 East Mira Monte Avenue. We are inviting the public to celebrate with us at our fund-raiser dinner benefitting our museums, Lizzie’s Trail Inn and the Richardson House. Activities centered at Richardson House will be a silent auction of historic artifacts and also a display of information relating to the new digital storyboard being installed in August. Also, come enjoy our new drought tolerant garden, which serves as a teaching garden for the Mt. Wilson Trail. And, there will be a special guest appearance of Lizzie herself!
Tickets are $25 per person and are available at Arnold’s Frontier Hardware, the Sierra Madre Public Library, Savor the Flavor, Mary’s Market, and Lizzie’s Trail Inn (during operating hours of 10am to Noon on Saturdays). Due to space constraints at the park, tickets are limited, so be sure to purchase your tickets early. There will be no tickets available for sale the day of the event.
