Press Release posted 2/10/13 – Registration for this year’s Mt. Wilson Trail Race starts at 9:00am on March 4, both on-line and in person. Go to cityofsierramadre.com/onlineregistration or in person at the Community Recreation Center, 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024. For on-line registration, you will need to create an account prior to registering for the race. It is recommended you create your account prior to Monday, March 4. If you have previously created an account, but do not remember your login information, please contact the Community Services Department at 626-355-5278 for help.
This race is very popular, as reflected by fact it took about six hours to fill the race last year. And we have been getting many inquiries already from new people. We will endeavor to get everyone we can into the race; if you do not make it within the first 300+ slots, you will be put on a waiting list, and we will try to get everyone on that list into the race, as there are invariably those who get injured or just plain nervous! Please remember that the city staff is doing the best it can during the registration process.
