A resident in the 400 block of San Gabriel Court reported that merchandise she had purchased on-line was removed from her porch after being delivered via the U.S. Postal Service. The investigation confirmed that the package had been delivered and placed on the front porch. The single box delivered contained a yellow metal ring with a turquoise stone and four Christmas ornaments.

An apparent vandalism to a vehicle was reported in the 100 Colony drive. At approximately 9pm, the owner of the vehicle was leaving the residence when they observed that the driver’s side window was shattered. The investigation indicated that an unknown object was used to smash the window but there was no indication that the suspect(s) entered the vehicle and no property was reported missing.
The following morning, a similar crime was reported in the 300 block of North Canon Drive. The resident discovered that his driver’s side window was smashed when he exited his residence at 7:15am. A small marble was discovered inside the vehicle suggesting that a sling-shot device may have been used by the suspect(s). Again, there was no indication that anyone entered the vehicle and removed property.

At 11:30 pm, an officer observed a vehicle travelling east on Foothill Boulevard make a U-turn by driving over the raised center divider of the roadway. After making a traffic stop the officer observed that the driver displayed obvious signs of intoxication. The driver (female 50 years of age) failed to adequately perform the field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
