Posted 7/22/12 – The Senior Community Commission sponsored this week’s Concert in the Park at Memorial Park, featuring The Silver Beatles. They also gave out free popsicles to anyone in the crowd that came up and asked for one. The Senior Community Commission is responsible for defining the needs of the senior population of Sierra Madre, as well as locating and publicizing available resources, and coordinating and initiating services for the senior population of Sierra Madre. They meet the first Thursday of the month at 3pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd.
